Abstract: Structural design and optimization has received more and more attention from the constructors.Foundation type selection and structural optimization are the focus and difficulty of structural design and optimization.A reasonable basic solution can not only meet the safety of the structure,but also greatly reduce the engineering cost.Shorten construction period.In order to design and optimize the largescale ore bin foundation of a concentrator,the main principles of foundation design optimization are elaborated,the engineering background and the original design status of the ore foundation are summarized,and the optimization design process of the ore bin foundation is emphasized.Basic design optimization principles and structural design calculation methods.The optimized design finally met the requirements of design strength and reduced the earth construction price by more than 4 million yuan.The design results have certain reference value for similar engineering design.
