Abstract: In recent years,the project investment of the newlybuilt tailings pond is obviously increased by the limitation of the location of the tailings pond and the environmental protection,so the engineering increase of the newlybuilt tailings pond is increased,so that the highdam tailings pond close to the level of 100~200 m has been formed in a large amount at the height of the original rockfill dam.To increase the stability of tailing pond,taking a tailing reservoir project as an example,the buried depth of the phreatic line of the dam is high,and the stability calculation can not meet the relevant specification requirements.In order to effectively reduce the phreatic line,the drainage facilities combined with the largemouth radiation well and the drift tube are adopted in the stacking dam.The application of the drainage facilities plays an important role in ensuring the stability of the dam body through the actual operation of the site.
