Abstract:
Barun Iron Mine is the main raw material production base of Baotou Iron and Steel Group,but the existing large-area blasting technique can not meet the demand of Baotou Iron and Steel Group for iron and steel production.In order to improve the production capacity of the mine,based on the regional blasting,the scale of blasting area is further increased,the super-large area blasting technique is proposed.The length of the blasting area is 630 m,its width is 60~150 m,it is larger than the ordinary large blasting area in number of blasting holes,amount of primary charging and blasting range.By setting reasonable blasting parameters,charging structure and strengthening site construction management,the successful application of the super-large blasting technique in Barun Iron Mine is finally realized.The filed test data show that after taking the super-large blasting technique,the blasting vibration velocity is 1.018 9~2.736 9 cm/s,the block rate is 10%,the blasting impact is small,the blasting cost is 15% lower than that of traditional blasting,10% lower than that of traditional blasting,13% lower than that of perforated meters,besides that,the equipment blasting avoidance time is reduced by 60%.The comprehensive analysis results indicated that application of the super-large blasting technique is help for improving the production capacity of Barun Iron Mine,reducing the unit cost of raw ore mining and achieving the purpose of decreasing cost and increasing efficiency of the mine.
