Abstract: In order to discuss the application effect of multifunctional dust suppressant in openpit mine pavement,a multifunctional composite dust suppressant with low raw material price,simple processing technology,safety and environmental protection,and good moisture absorption,moisture retention,and coagulation performance was introduced.The field application effects of the iron ore,coal mine,limestone and other types of openpit mine transportation pavements were tested,and their economic benefits were evaluated.The test results show that the multifunctional composite dust suppressant has a significant dust suppression effect in 3 different types of openpit mines,and has a certain dust suppression period.Among them,the dust suppressant solution has the highest dust suppression efficiency in the test of openair iron ore transportation pavement ( 98.3%) and the longest dust suppression period (8 d).On the surface of openair limestone mines,the dust suppression efficiency and dust suppression period can also reach 96.4% and 5 d,respectively.According to the analysis of economic benefits,compared with the traditional sundust suppression method,the multifunctional composite dust suppressant has obvious watersaving effects and significant economic benefits,and has certain application prospects.
