Abstract: The rock at the outlet section of the flood discharge tunnel of the tailings pond is broken and does not meet the construction conditions for excavation ，In order to ensure the safe completion of the construction of unstable rock stratum at the exit section of the flood discharge tunnel,"Artificial roadway" formed by advanced steel arch concrete temporary support,Then the top of "artificial roadway" is backfilled with plain concrete to form "artificial slope",and Then adopt the method of short excavation and short masonry to carry out excavation and masonry operation.This construction method can be used safely and effectively for the construction of Unstable Strata at the exit of flood discharge tunnel.
