Abstract: In order to solve the contradiction between mineral resources development and ecological protection in Xinjiang，promote the green transformation in the field of geological exploration，and help the sustainable development of regional mining industry，combined with the industry current situation of miner⁃ al resources endowment and geological exploration in Xinjiang，this paper combs the core role of geologi⁃ cal exploration in the green development of mineral resources in Xinjiang by means of literature research， case analysis and theory combined with practice，analyzes the outstanding problems of current geological exploration in the integration of green concept，technology application and standard implementation，and explores the green technology path and implementation strategy of geological exploration suitable for Xinji⁃ ang's regional characteristics.The research shows that geological exploration is the pre-link of mineral re⁃ sources development，and its greening level directly determines the ecological friendliness and sustainabili⁃ ty of resource development. By optimizing the exploration technology system，improving the green explora⁃ tion norms，and strengthening the scientific and technological empowerment and collaborative control，the quality of green development of mineral resources in Xinjiang can be effectively improved，and the coordi⁃ nated promotion of resource utilization，ecological protection and regional development can be realized.
