Abstract: To improve the stability of the slope of a certain domestic mine,combined with the land‐ slide project of the stope slope,an in-depth analysis of its landslide cause reveals that rainfall infiltration and blasting vibration are important inducements for the instability and failure of the slope. Heavy rainfall causes the groundwater level inside the stope slope to continuously rise,reducing its stability and lowering the safety factor. Blasting vibration leads to a reduction in the degree of friction between structural surfaces, a decrease in cohesion,a continuous decline in the safety factor,and the slope is in an unstable state,re‐ sulting in deep-level damage. In response to the causes of slope landslide instability,the mechanical param‐ eters of rock mass and sliding surface were obtained through triaxial shear tests in the laboratory and inver‐ sion analysis. The safety and stability of the slope were achieved by measures such as lowering the water lev‐ el lines at different heights within the slope body,layer-by-layer slope cutting and load reduction,and us‐ ing anchor (cable) frame beams. Research shows that the mechanical parameters obtained in the laboratory are larger in value and have higher stability compared with those of sliding surfaces. The mechanical strength parameters of rock mass structural planes obtained through inversion analysis are relatively reason‐ able in engineering treatment measures. The adoption of slope cutting and load reduction measures,along with the re-support of the slope body using frame beams,anchor cables (rods),and anchor shotcrete to en‐ hance the resistance of the slope against sliding sections,and the auxiliary use of drainage pipes to divert water and lower the internal water level of the slope,can effectively improve the stability of the slope,espe‐cially in cases where the slope body,rock mass joints and fissures are well developed,rock mass quality is poor,and there are structural plane cutting slopes. Its comprehensive management measures have achieved remarkable results,providing a new approach for the treatment of rock slopes.
