Abstract: In order to improve the social identity of mining enterprises and promote the sustainable de‐ velopment of mining industry，based on the national policy guidance and industry practice，aiming at the problems of cognitive differences，transformation dilemma and imperfect mechanism in the social identity di‐ mension of six dimensional mine construction，from the four aspects of national policy，upstream and down‐ stream enterprises，the public and mine workers，the construction path and method of social identity are systematically serted out by specific case. The results show that improving the differentiated management system，building a long-term community communication mechanism，optimizing the ecological environment of the mining area，deepening the practice of social responsibility，improving the treatment of employees， and strengthening the protection of employees' rights and interests are the key ways to enhance social identi‐ ty. Social identity is an important support for the construction of six dimensional mines. It is necessary to sys‐ tematically enhance the social identity of mining enterprises through comprehensive paths such as policy co‐ ordination，interest balance，community integration and humanistic care，so as to lay a foundation for sus‐ tainable development of mining industry and national resource security.
