Investigation on Crushing and Grinding Process in Concentrator of Qidashan Iron Mine

In order to further optimize the crushing grinding process and equipment configuration of
Qidashan Iron Mine,the crushing and grinding process was investigated. The results show that the new
crushing system is more efficient in combination with the complexity of equipment configuration and the
amount of raw ore treatment. The screening efficiency of the new system on site is better than that of the old
system. Therefore,the fine screening efficiency of the old system has room for improvement. The classifica⁃
tion efficiency of each operation cyclone is not ideal,and the classification efficiency of the first stage is bet⁃
ter than that of the second stage and the coarse fine classification efficiency. The energy utilization efficiency
of the on-site second stage ball mill is low,and the first stage grinding effect is better than the second stage
grinding. The results of the process investigation analysis can lay a foundation for the application of new
equipment and new technology.
