A specularite concentrator in Anhui will select some newly mined ore bodies dominated by magnetite. Compared with the original single specularite ore,the content of pyrite in the new ore body is sig⁃ nificantly higher, and a large number of original specularite ore do not have amphibole and chlorite, but the content of quartz and feldspar is significantly lower. In order to understand the influence of new ore selection on the original production system,a comparative beneficiation test of mixed ore (original specularite ore and new ore blending at a mass ratio of 5∶1) and original specularite ore was carried out. The results show that under the condition of grinding fineness of -200 mesh 45%,one low intensity magnetic separation and two high intensity magnetic separation, high intensity magnetic separation 1 concentrate one gravity separation to obtain concentrate, low intensity magnetic separation concentrate and high intensity magnetic separation 2 concentrate and gravity separation tailings merger regrinding through 200 mesh sieve, plus sieve two gravi⁃ ty separation and extracting concentrate once again, two gravity separation tailings return to regrinding, two stage all minus mesh minerals one low intensity magnetic separation and two high intensity magnetic separa⁃ tion again, magnetic separation mixed concentrate one roughing one cleaning and three scavenging conven⁃ tional closed-circuit reverse flotation process is adopted. The TFe grade of the separation concentrate of the mixed sample with TFe grade of 31.10% is 66.32%,and the TFe recovery rate is 78.67%. The TFe grade of the separation concentrate of the original specularite sample (contrast sample) with TFe grade of 30.42% is 66.45%,and the TFe recovery rate is 85.26%,indicating that the selectivity of the new ore body ore is sig⁃ nificantly reduced.
