Surrounding Rock Support Optimization of Large Section Soft Rock Roof Roadway in a Mine

In view of the large deformation of surrounding rock after the original bolt-mesh-cable⁃
shotcreting support in large section soft rock roadway in a mine,the causes of roadway deformation and fail⁃
ure are analyzed.The combined support method of bolt-mesh-cable-shotcreting + grouting reinforcement is
proposed to improve the overall support strength of surrounding rock and control the large deformation and
roof fall of surrounding rock.Through engineering practice,in the 180 days of monitoring,the deformation of
surrounding rock is more severe in 30 ~ 90 days,and gradually tends to be stable after 120 days. The maxi⁃
mum deformation of roof and floor and the convergence of two sides are 192 and 117 mm respectively,and
the control effect is obvious.
