Abstract: In order to reduce the production cost of metal mining enterprises and improve the utiliza⁃ tion rate of resources,in view of the material and fine grinding characteristics of nano-ceramic balls,com⁃ bined with the application case of nano-ceramic balls replacing traditional steel balls in the fine grinding of metal mines,the economic indicators of“energy saving and consumption reduction”obtained by using na⁃ no-ceramic balls as the grinding medium of ball mills and tower mills,and the positive effect of reducing overgrinding and iron pollution on the separation of useful minerals are briefly described. In addition,the optimization design direction of ball mill and tower mill suitable for the application of nano-ceramic balls was discussed,and the broad application prospect of nano-ceramic balls in fine grinding of metal ores was prospected.
