Abstract: In order to solve the problem of low grade of on-site copper concentrate in a copper-zinc sulfide mine,zinc suppression and copper flotation preferential flotation test was conducted. The open-cir⁃ cuit test results show that when the grinding fineness is -0.074 mm75%,zinc sulfate and sodium sulfite are used as zinc mineral combination inhibitors,Z-200 and butyl xanthate are used as copper mineral combi⁃ nation collectors,the copper concentrate with copper grade of 19.80%,copper recovery of 48.60% and zinc grade of 15.80% can be obtained by one roughing,three cleaning and one scavenging process. Zinc concentrate with zinc grade of 49.60%,zinc recovery of 53.01%,and copper grade of 0.92% can be ob⁃ tained by using copper sulfate as zinc mineral activator,butyl xanthate as zinc mineral collector,and one roughing and three cleaning process for zinc minerals,realizing the comprehensive recovery of copper and zinc.
