Application of Advanced Support Technology Based on New Material in Tunneling Basting

Abstract: Advance support is an important part of roadway support in mineral mining,which pro⁃ vides a certain support resistance for roadway surrounding rock,prevents the collapse of dangerous rocks, and enhances the safety and reliability of tunneling operations. Due to the deficiency of the existing ad⁃ vance support technology,several common support methods can not meet the needs of excavation blasting, and the phenomenon of roof falling and wall chipping often occurs in the process of excavation. Through the research on the support mechanism and support technology,a new material advance support technology is designed and studied. The reliability of this technology is verified from the support strength,the displace⁃ ment of the roadway surface after support and the blasting effect through tests. The results show that the support strength can reach 0.42~0.63 MPa,which can effectively reduce the damage of blasting impact on the surrounding rock,form a stable and effective artificial false roof,and enhance the stability of the sur⁃ rounding rock. The displacement of the roadway surface can still reach 3~5 mm in about 90 days,effective⁃ ly ensuring the safety of operators. At the same time,due to the role of the filling material in it,the blast⁃ ing effect has also been improved to a cer,tain extent. The utilization rate of the blast hole in soft rock has been increased by 10.4% ~11.7%,and that in hard rock has been increased by 3.8% ~ 6.7%. Each compo⁃ nent of the filling material used in the advance support is pollution-free,healthy and environment-friendly products,which will not produce other polluting gases after blasting. It has the advantages of convenient op⁃ eration,high blasting efficiency,good use effect and so on.
