Laboratory Reappearance of a Molybdenum Ore Dressing Production Process and Production Indexes Analysis

Abstract: In order to provide the design basis for the new system expansion of a molybdenum concentrator,according to the process of high efficiency beneficiation system in site,the process reproduction test was carried out in the laboratory,and the field process investigation was carried out simultaneously. The results showed that: ①the laboratory test indexes can fully reveal the mineral separability,which can be used as the basis for industrial production index design; ②There is a great difference in recovery rate between verification test and industrial molybdenum roughage circuit,so the design should be modified according to the test index. While the recovery rate of the verification test is close to that of the industrial production,which can be used as the design basis; ③Higher concentration ratio of industrial flotation column is more beneficial to the improvement of concentrate grade; ④ The beneficiation efficiency of the flotation column is significantly higher than that of the flotation machine. One selection of flotation column is equivalent to two or three selection of flotation machine. Therefore,the proper process of industrial flotation column is more con⁃ cise,stable and reliable than that of the small flotation machine in the laboratory.
