Abstract: In order to reduce the sulfur content in the iron concentrate powder of low intensity mag⁃ netic separation in Zhongguan Iron Mine,the tower grinding-magnetic separation sulfur reduction test,flotation sulfur reduction test,-0.045 mm particle size elutriation and full particle size elutriation test with different grinding fineness were carried out. The results show that the sulfur in iron concentrate mainly exists in +0.045 mm fraction,and flotation desulfurization is preferred in +0.045 mm fraction,which can ba⁃ sically meet the production requirements and effectively reduce the production cost. If the sulfur content in iron concentrate is high,the -0.045 mm product can be treated by elutriation machine,which can not only reduce the sulfur content in iron concentrate,but also improve the iron grade of concentrate.
