Abstract: In order to explore the feasibility of preparing ultra-pure iron concentrate from a hematite concentrate，the beneficiation process test was carried out. The hematite concentrate was the product of ma⁃ ghemite mixed ore by removal magnetite，and the total iron grade was 62.74%. By investigating the effects of grinding fineness，dosage of inhibitor and collector in cleaning section on the grade and recovery of hematite concentrate，the appropriate reagent system and process flow were determined. The test results show that the ultra-pure iron concentrate with total iron grade of 68.32% can be obtained by grinding-deslimingone roughing two cleaning reverse flotation of hematite concentrate，and the recovery rate of flotation operation is 78.67%.
