Abstract: In the course of developing the underground roadway in an iron mine,a collapse occurred in the face of strong-argillization and water-abundance stratum, which resulted in water and mud inrush. During emergency treatment, the construction of water retaining wall is difficult, and the effect of traditional grouting technology on filling small fissures is poor, which is easy to cause secondary water inrush. In order to solve the above problems, this paper adopts a double retaining wall structure of mud retaining wall to control mud and water retaining wall to control water, and combined with the comprehensive treatment tech⁃ nology of chemical slurry filling tiny cracks and advanced pipe shed pre support.Used double retaining walls to seal and replace the outside mud diorite area of the tunnel excavation contour line, then uses chemical grouting material to fill the small fissures, finally, the advance pipe shed is used to pre-support the broken and weak argillaceous diorite, and a series of measures such as short excavation and short support are adopted in the next tunneling construction to ensure the safe passage of the roadway. Through the practice, this technology can not only effectively prevent the secondary disasters in the emergency construction,it can also be used to reinforce surrounding rock under complicated engineering and hydrogeological conditions, such as soft rock, fine fissures of argillaceous diorite and so on.
