Abstract: Daxinzhai Pb-Zn Deposit is located in intersecting section of northeastern edge of Luxi continental and edge of Manghai continental margin,which is distributed in southern margin of Gaoligongshan-Luxi metallogenic sub-belt,and the exploration degree relatively low.Based on the latest prospecting results in the mining area,the regional geological background,geological characteristics of the mining area and deposit geological characteristics are discussed in detail,besides that,the prospecting potential of the area is also studied.The results show that:①the mining area has tectonic development feature,and the occurrence shape and spatial distribution are mainly controlled by faults in NNE direction,NE direction and NW direction,the ore-bodies are mainly hosted in interlayer fissure and silicated alteration zone,which presents veins and cystiform;②the wall-rock alteration are well developed,and the mineralization is closely associated with limonitization and silicification；③the genesis of Daxinzhai Deposit is belongs to hydrothermal filling deposit at ow-medium temperature,the mineralization is dominated by disseminated,dense and massive Pb-Zn deposits.Based on the above analysis results,TDP induced-current middle-gradient and AMT geophysical exploration work are conducted,combing with the working results,it id further show that the favorable prospecting indicators of the mining area can be summarized as altered faults and outcropping sections of quartz sandstone and fine sandstone,besides that,prospecting potential of the depth range of 1 500～1 700 m along the L140 exploration line and L180 exploration line are huge,they are can be taken as the prospecting target areas.
