Abstract: The stability of the slope has always been the most concerned issue in the process of openpit mining. There are many factors affecting the stability of the slope. External factors such as rainfall and dy⁃ namic load, internal factors such as physical and mechanical parameters of rock and soil, slope height and slope gradient. Through the analysis of sensitivity, the correlation degree of each parameter to slope stability can be quantitatively judged. Taking the backfill slope in a mining area in South America as an example, the sensitivity of stability to the cohesion and internal friction angle of rock and soil in the slope is calculated and analyzed under different working conditions and different slopes. The results show that when the slope is large, the sensitivity of slope safety factor to cohesion is greater than that to internal friction angle. When the slope is small, the safety factor is more sensitive to the change of internal friction angle, and the earthquake will reduce the average sensitivity of the safety factor to each parameter, but will not change the sensitivity of the slope to each parameter. The change of the safety factor of the slope is calculated by the change law of the sensitivity, which is consistent with the actual modeling and calculation results. It helps the mining area to choose a more suitable backfill material. It will also provide great help for the stacking scheme and materi⁃ al selection of the mine dump and temporary yard, and help to promote the intelligent stacking research in the construction of digital mines.
