Abstract: In order to improve the comprehensive utilization rate of fine-grained wrapped gold,aim⁃ ing at the problem of low flotation recovery rate of a high-sulfur and high-arsenic fine-grained wrapped gold concentrator and low cyanide leaching rate of a smelter,a systematic study on sand mill grinding and gold re⁃ covery and utilization is carried out. The test results show that the power consumption can be reduced by properly increasing the grinding concentration. The leaching rate of gold sulfide concentrate can be effective⁃ ly improved after fine grinding. When grinding to -38 μm 94% by sand mill,the gold recovery rate can be increased by 5.00 percentage points,and the comprehensive economic benefit after flotation fine grinding is remarkable.When the gold concentrate is ground to D80 of 10 μm,the gold leaching rate can be increased by 7.84 percentage points,which can provide an important basis for the rational application of sand mill in gold mining and construction.
