Abstract: In order to enhance the real-time performance and accuracy of the open-pit mine slope monitoring in a certain copper-cobalt mine in Africa,in response to the problems of traditional optical monitoring methods such as large workload, discontinuous and non-real-time data, and significant influ⁃ ence from environmental and human factors,a radar monitoring system was built to conduct long-distance and large-scale scanning of the monitoring area, achieving real-time,continuous,all-weather monitoring data. It effectively makes up for the deficiencies of manual point monitoring, and at the same time forms a monitoring method that combines points and surfaces, enabling mutual verification and checking of moni⁃ toring data, eliminating the limitations of a single monitoring system, and promoting the rapid implementa⁃ tion of INSAR synthetic aperture radar technology in the safe production of overseas mines.
