Abstract: To improve the recovery rate of coal resources and alleviate the tense situation of mining and excavation succession in Wutongzhuang Mine,a technical practice of high water filling gob-side entry retaining was carried out in the lower material transportation roadway 182605 of Wutongzhuang Mine. Through technologies such as advanced reinforcement and support,high-water filling and roof cutting and pressure relief,the support strength of the roadway has been significantly increased,and the ability of the roadway to resist deformation and damage has been enhanced. The average convergence values of the sur⁃ rounding rocks on both sides of the 182605 lower material transportation roadway gob-side entry retaining have decreased to 227.8 mm,and the average approach of the top and bottom plates has decreased to 274 mm. This effectively maintains the stability gob-side entry retaining and ensures the ventilation,transporta⁃ tion and pedestrian safety of the roadway. The research proposed the power-off backwashing technology for grouting of high-water materials,effectively solving the problem of the grouting material solidifying and blocking the pipeline due to sudden power failure,improving work efficiency,and saving about 140 000 yu⁃ an in material costs. The implementation of high-water filling gob-side entry retaining in the 182605 lower material transportation roadway has reduced the tunneling volume,increased the recovery of coal resources by 25 000 t,and created an economic benefit of 50 million yuan. The application of high-water material gob-side entry retaining technology in the middle roadway between the 182605 lower and 182605 working face has achieved "Y" -shaped ventilation in the working face,improving the working environment for work⁃ers,realizing coal pill-free mining,alleviating the tense situation of mining and excavation succession, eliminating the waste of coal resources,which has important application value for the sustainable develop⁃ ment of coal mines,and provides a reference for the development and promotion and application of high wa⁃ ter filling gob-side entry retaining technology.
