Abstract: At present，most of the open-pit mines in China still adopt the traditional manual schedul⁃ ing method，which has the problems of low production efficiency，high safety risk and high operating cost. In response to these problems，Luming Mining Co.，Ltd. developed and applied an intelligent truck sched⁃ uling system. The system integrates modern communication technology，satellite positioning technology，ar⁃ tificial intelligence technology and other technologies to realize the intelligence and automation of mine pro⁃ duction scheduling. The system consists of four parts including mobile vehicle terminal，intelligent schedul⁃ ing software，intelligent auxiliary terminal and production scene maintenance system. It has the functions of real-time monitoring，dynamic scheduling，safety warning，data traceability and so on. The practical ap⁃ plication shows that the system significantly improves the production efficiency of the mine，reduces the transportation cost and safety risk，and provides an effective solution for the digital and intelligent transfor⁃ mation of open-pit mines.
