Due to the special topographic and geomorphological conditions of the channel in Gaoqiel⁃ ingsection of the Jianghuai watershed and the expansion of the stratum exposed by the channel slope,insta⁃ bility has occurred repeatedly over the years.By analyzing the characteristics and causes of expansive soil channel landslide,typical sections are selected for continuous sampling drilling and static cone penetration survey,and the distribution position,development characteristics and mechanical properties of slope slid⁃ ing zone or potential sliding zone are analyzed.Considering the sliding zone or potential sliding zone,the an⁃ ti-sliding measures are carried out on the slope respectively,and the stability is checked.Through the study of the stability of the canal slope and the anti-sliding treatment measures,it provides a reference for the an⁃ ti-sliding prevention and control of the expansive soil slope.
