Abstract: SHIRINK2 Copper is located in the south of Kerman area,Iran. It is located in the important porphyry copper metallogenic belt in Iran. The copper deposits in the metallogenic belt are closely related to volcanic eruptions,intrusive activities and faulted structures,and the metallogenic conditions are good. The main ore bodies of the three copper deposits have been found mainly in the quartz vein,siltstone, shale bedding fissure surface and altered andesite,the wall rock alteration such as qingpanitization,silicification and pyrite mineralization is closely related to copper mineralization. Combined with the regional metallogenic geological setting,geological characteristics of the mining area and related exploration results, it is found that the copper body is controlled by the northeast strike-slip fault,and the mineralization alteration zone is in the same direction as the northwest regional fault-fold zone.Through the analysis of ore facies and chemistry,it is found that the deposit belongs to porphyry copper deposit,copper mineralization is closely related to the volcanic magmatic belt in this region,and the area near the NW mineralization alteration zone and the NE fault zone is the rich mineralization area with great prospecting potential,which provides the basis for further exploration of porphyry copper deposit.
