Abstract: Molybdenum disulfide has become one of the research hotspots in the field of materials science in recent years because of its excellent lubrication performance. In order to improve the application value of molybdenum disulfide，several main preparation methods of molybdenum disulfide preparation，such as stripping method，deposition method and hydrothermal method are reviewed. The mechanism and research status of various preparation methods are emphatically expounded. At the same time，the application status of lubricating additives prepared by molybdenum disulfide is expounded，in order to provide reference for the application research of molybdenum disulfide lubricating additives and composite materials.
