Abstract: In order to study the slope monitoring and early warning effect of the MSR open-pit slope monitoring system，the detection effect was analyzed based on the actual application of the soft rock slope in an open-pit mine，combined with the cause of the landslide. The results show that MSR real aperture ra⁃ dar can realize real-time monitoring of open-pit slopes and is effective in early warning of imminent slid⁃ ing. It can make early warning of landslide information such as location，displacement，speed and time of landslide area in time，and can minimize the adverse effects of landslide disaster on mining area.
