Multi-hole Interaction of Bench Fracturing Blasting in Fushun West Open-pit Mine

Abstract: In order to reveal the crack initiation interaction and crack propagation effect of blasting boreholes,the coupling mechanical model of open-pit mine body and groundwater was established. The crack propagation characteristics of bench multi-hole blasting in Fushun West Open-pit Mine were studied by programming calculation,and the interaction relationship between boreholes and cracks of ore bodies below the bench surface under the conditions of dredging,containing linear distribution of confined water and shallow hole distribution was explored. The results show that in the process of bench blasting,the crack initiation caused by mutual interference between multiple boreholes has time difference characteris⁃ tics,and the water content of ore body and the depth of borehole have influence on this effect. The former is mainly due to the effect of stress increasing the effect of fracturing and rock breaking,and the latter is due to the loading and heterogeneity of coal and rock changing the sequence of blasthole initiation.
