Abstract: Safe，efficient and economical transport of materials from the yard to the slope is the key in slope improvement projects. Focusing on this problem，the domestic slope management technology and materials are summarized，and a classification system of slope protection technology is established. On this basis，the optimal method of the two-stage transportation scheme is proposed. The first stage selects sever⁃ al suitable transportation modes according to the actual working conditions，and the second stage uses the weighted scoring method to select the optimal transportation scheme for the selected transportation modes. This method enables the optimization of the transport scheme.
