Abstract: Taking the geological disaster control engineering of Honggaoliang landslide in Xin County as an example，on the basis of geological exploration，the topographic and geomorphic characteristics，stra⁃ tum structure and geological structure characteristics of landslides are analyzed，and the cause，deforma⁃ tion mechanism and stability of landslides are analyzed，and scientific and reasonable prevention and con⁃ trol measures of landslides are put forward.Practice results showed that the proposed technical measures are technically feasible，economically reasonable，eliminate geological hazards，social and environmental ben⁃ efits are good，and have certain reference value for similar engineering practice.
