Abstract: In order to adapt to the current environmental protection requirements and reduce the use of clean water in the disc root or mechanical seal of the cooling pump in the pressure filter workshop of Yangquan No.5 Mine Coal Preparation Plant of Lu’an Chemical Industry Group, aiming at the problem that the filtrate separated by the pressure filter in the pressure filter workshop of the coal preparation plant is not completely separated from the coal slime, and without changing the slime water system in other work⁃ shops, the on-site test verifies the moisture content of the coal slime and the concentration of clean water. The clean water meeting the requirements is separated from the coal slime filtrate and is used for the me⁃ chanical disc root or mechanical seal of the cooling pump in the workshop by adding the separation plate to the filtrate tank, adding pipelines and electric valves in the system and adding automatic charging devices. The loading of low-moisture coal slime that meets the requirements not only ensures the water content of coal slime to reach the standard, but also reduces the use of water, achieving the purpose of efficient utiliza⁃ tion of filtrate and saving tap water.
