Abstract: The stability of the upper side slope group of the openpit mine is very important,which directly affects the operation safety of the lower platform.The successful application of presplitting blasting technology in the final side slope can not only reduce the vibration of the blasting to the slope,ensure the stability of the final side slope,but also reduce the maintenance and management costs of the final side slope.Create favorable conditions for safe production in mines.Presplitting blasting technology is used to carry out controlled blasting of the final side slope.According to the geological characteristics of the rock mass,reasonable parameters of presplitting blasting are set for different lithological parts.A series of problems such as unsatisfactory blasting quality of side slopes,crisscrossed cracks,incomplete slope surface fragmentation,and high rate of hanging sides of loose blocks in the early mining process of the mine are solved,and the stability of the slope at the final level is ensured.
