Abstract: Summarize the characteristics of the stratum,regional structure and regional magmatic rock of the vanadium mining area in the Sansui area of Guizhou Province,and discuss the mineralization law of the vanadium deposit in the mining area.The results of the study indicate that the vanadium deposits in the region are located in the upper part of the Doushantuo Formation dolomite and the lower part of the Laobao Formation and Jiumenchong Formation.The source of mineralization is mainly from the hot air currents of the submarine rifts that carry deep vanadium and other metal elements to the shelf and platform to move and migrate,and the phenomenon of lateral separation of vanadium occurs.The deposited vanadium metal exists in the form of hydromica under the action of lowtemperature hydrothermal fluid in the later stage,and part of the vanadium element adsorbed by carbon enters the hydromica lattice to form vanadium ore.
