Damping Test of Highconcentration Tailings Pond with Graded Upstream #br# Pond Filling Method in Alpine Area

Abstract: For the highconcentration tailings pond in the alpine region,the upstream method encountered the short hydraulic dam time,the long tail dehydration and consolidation time,and the weak bearing capacity of the beach surface,on the basis of the hierarchical upstream method and the pond filling method,a hierarchical upstream pond filling method is proposed for dam construction.In addition,relying on a tailings pond to carry out field dam test research,the design scheme and debugging method of the cyclone grading dam system were systematically explained,and the field dam test process and the application of the grading upstream pond filling method were introduced in detail.Field test results show that when the concentration of the original tailings is above 60% and the +200 mesh particles are 20% to 30%,after being sorted by the cyclone classification damming system,the yield of underflow tailings can reach more than 30% under the condition that the +200 mesh particles are not less than 65%.The underflow tailings that fill the enclosure pond can be dehydrated and consolidated in a short period of time to form strength,and the sedimentation rate of the underflow sedimentation beach is stable in the later stage.The hierarchical upstream pond filling method can meet the needs of fast and safe dam construction of highconcentration tailings ponds in alpine regions.
