Abstract: In recent years,the prospecting achievements are remarkable.The goldcopper deposit of Bulansala city,the gold deposit of Wushijiagayiti,and various gold and copper deposits have been discovered in the Wushijiagayiti area on the northern edge of West Junggar.The rearch shows that:①The gold mineralization is closely related to the mediumacid rock mass and structure.It is generally produced in the quartz veins in the contact zone of the rock;②copper mineralization is widely developed in tectonic fractures and alteration zones.The main orebearing horizons;③The oreforming period in the area is mainly divided into two phases:one is the copper mineralization period related to the volcanic hydrothermal and tectonic activities of the Silurian; the other is the gold and copper polymetallic related to the intrusive activity and tectonic activities of the Late Carboniferous and the mediumacid magma mineralization period.
