Abstract: Lancang LaochangMenglian Chachang area is located in the ChangningMenglian polymetallic metallogenic belt,and the study of regional metallogenic laws has important guiding significance for prospecting breakthroughs.On the basis of comprehensive analysis and study of geological background,geochemical anomalies,mineral distribution and other characteristics,the area is divided into Laochang,Laba and Menglian Mine (chemical) concentration areas.Laochang leadzinc deposit is a typical deposit in the region.Its anomalous geochemical exploration and spatial distribution of the deposit have the characteristics of low,medium and high temperature metallogenic zoning.Starting with the zoning characteristics of the deposit,it is pointed out that the Laochang Mine (chemical) concentration area is dominated by lowtemperature metallogenic elements,while However,the geochemical anomalies and mineralization characteristics of the Laba and Menglian deposits are dominated by lowmedium temperature metallogenic elements,and the spatial zoning characteristics are not obvious.The geochemical anomalies and the distribution characteristics of ore (chemical) bodies in this area indicate that the regional metallogenic temperature and metallogenic elevation have a decreasing trend from high to low from north to south,which is considered to be different from the magmatic activity in Yanshan period,pointed out that the periphery of Laochang and the deep part of Laba are favorable target areas for prospecting.
