Abstract: In order to ensure the safety of the surrounding houses during the excavation and blasting of a tunnel, the impact of blasting vibration and blasting flying rock on the safety of residential buildings is analyzed. When the maximum blasting charge of tunnel excavation section is controlled within 38 kg,the blasting vibration will not cause damage to the surrounding residential buildings;by strictly controlling the single section charge and the total initiating charge, the blocking length and quality can be guaranteed, and the blasting safety warning work can be strengthened,so as to avoid the damage to the residential buildings caused by blasting flying stones. Finally, the control measures of blasting construction to ensure the safety of residential buildings are put forward to provide guidance for the safety of tunnel excavation blasting.
