Abstract: In order to develop and utilize the rare earth ore found in Xixia County Henan Province,the properties of the ore and the processing technology were studied.The mineral type,ore type and occurrence state of the rare earth ore are verified,and the ore dressing technology suitable for the ore is preliminarily determined by the analysis of ore composition,and the ore electability is determined by the analysis of the target mineral imbedding.Based on the above research,the technological process of magnetic separation pretreatmentcoarse concentrate flotation was determined by comparing different processes,and the separation indexes of REO grade and recovery of open circuit concentrate were 62.44% and 64.94% respectively.
