Abstract: Flood regulartion calculation is very important in the design and operation management of tailings pond，and water balance is regarded as a common calculation method which involves many interpolation calculations and trial calculations.In order to improve the computational efficiency and quality,by using Excel's powerful data processing capabilities and VBA programming method,it can achieve the calculation process automatically.It's the way to reduce the influence of labor in interpolation and trial calculations and improve the work efficiency.Moreover,the calculation process is clear and versatile.
