Abstract: Underground mine stope top pillar refers to the protective ore body set up in order to ensure safety between top stop mining level of stope and floor of the transportation roadway in the upper adjacent stage. For the mine with stable roof and floor surrounding rock, high value of ore resources and lack of filling materials, the retention of roof pillars will inevitably cause unnecessary waste of resources and bring great economic losses to enterprises. And besides, due to the complexity of geological conditions, the limitations of underground operations and the damage of blasting, ore pillars often fail to give full play to their design role.A reinforced concrete artificial roof structure for the underground mine was designed by means of stress state analysis, theoretical calculation.Through cost and economic benefit calculation, the cost of artificial reinforced concrete roof is 0.8 million yuan, and the resource value of the replaced ore roof pillar is 2.64 million yuan, which has good economic benefits.
