Abstract: A vanadiumtitanium magnetite ore in Canada with TFe grade of 42.56%,TiO2 grade of 10.65%,V2O5 grade of 0.33%,and Cr2O3 grade of 1.22%.The metal minerals in the ore are mainly titanium magnetite and ilmenite, which are mostly useful elements are stored in titanium magnetite. In order to determine the development and utilization process of the ore,a beneficiation test was conducted. The results show that take the twostage grinding and stage low inteisity magnetic separation process can obtain an iron concentrate with TFe,TiO2,V2O5,Cr2O3 grades of 52.76%,10.21%,0.42%,1.64%,and recovery rates of 87.14%,67.38%,89.45%,93.91% respectively. The low intensity magnetic separation iron tailings adopt the high intensity magnetic separation+gravity separation titanium separation process can obtain a titanium concentrate with TiO2 grade of 47.03%,and the recovery rate of the relatively low intensity magnetic separation iron tailings is 7.34%.
