Abstract: Yanzhuang iron deposit is located in the northern part of the Wenshang Dongping metallogenic belt.In order to explore the mineralization mark of the deposit，by studying the geological characteristics of the deposit,analyzing its genesis and summarizing the prospecting criteria,it is of reference value to the prospecting work in the area.The ore bodies occurred in shancaoyu formation,and their shapes are controlled by the basement anticline and appear as layered.Magmatic rocks destroy the continuity of the ore bodies.The Genesis of the deposit is a sedimentary metamorphic iron deposit related to Neoarchean volcanic activity and regional metamorphism.The metamorphic rock series and magnetic anomaly of Taishan Group are the prospecting indicators of this type of deposit.
