Abstract: A large number goafs occurred in Tangdan Copper Mine, which characterized by irregularity distribution, complex shape and great security risk caused by the effects of previous garbled mining. In order to obtain the morphology, contour and volume of goaf of the mine, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of stope acceptance measurement, the underground volume of the mine is measured and calculated by adopting 3D laser scanning method instead of traditional measurement method. The three-dimensional geological model of goaf is established based on processing of scanning point-cloud data by using DIMINE software, which can obtain the information of boundary, volume, external morphology and distribution structure of goaf.In addition, the comparison study of scanning results and measured data of mine is done. The results show that the measurement is 0.9%~9.4%,which proved the three-dimensional technology is suitable for the complicated goaf detection. The above study results can provide effectively guarantee for the safety production of Tangdan Copper Mine.
