Abstract: In order to understand the factors affecting the efficient recovery of pyrite,the technological parameters of flotation pulp pH,the type and amount of collector,pulp concentration,ore feeding granularity and flotation time on pure pyrite were investigated.The results show that the flotation recovery of pyrite is 96.1% when pH is 2,SP-1 dosage is 40 mg/L,foaming agent 2# oil dosage is 20 mg/L,pulp concentration is 12%,feeding particle size is 74～26 μm,and flotation time is 4 min.Under the same conditions of other tests,the collective performance the new collector SP-1 developed by the laboratory is obviously better than butyl xanthate.
