Abstract: Under the guidance of the national policy on constructing green mines,since the beginning of exploiting Sareke copper deposit we have practised the green developing principle that green mountains and clear water are equal to mountains of gold and silver.Centering on the seven aspects of environmental construction,multipurpose use of resources,innovation in science and technology,digitalization of the mine construction,economizing on energy and decreasing emission,environmental protection,the recovery and harnessing of the geological environment,and the three aspects of land reclamation,harmonious community and the construction of enterprise culture,we push ahead with the construction of the green mining area.Not only social efficiency and economic efficiency but also the development of mining enterprise and people's willingness in mining area are equally emphasized,which has led to the exploitation of resources harmonizing with the environmental protection,and healthy and sustainable development of the enterprise.The result of the construction is remarkable,thus accumulating rich experience in the green construction of the mining area for the sector of nonferrous metals.
