Abstract: Aiming at the problems of imperfect ventilation system, insufficient air volume and dirty air not being discharged in time during the mining process of the southwest wing orebody on the 18th line of the mine, three feasible ventilation schemes have been worked out by using the principle of air pressure balance, network optimization technology, optimization technology of air station and computer network simulation technology. Through technical and economic comparison, on the basis of making full use of existing ventilation facilities and ventilation shaft and roadway engineering, a new 905~855 m return air shaft (1.5 m) along 18 lines and a new K45612 fan (18.5 kW) at 855 m level in this well are determined to improve the working environment in this area. The numerical simulation results show that the total air volume of the southwest wing ventilation system of line 18 reaches 20.5 m3/s, and the adjustability and stability of the underground air flow are enhanced, which provides a strong guarantee for the safe production of the mine.
