Abstract: The Yu'erya gold deposit is located at the northern margin of the North China Plate. The basement of the mining area is the granulite facies and amphibolite facies of the Qianxi Group in the Archean strata. The ore body is controlled by the NNENE fault structure and the orebearing surrounding rock is granite.Based on the geological characteristics of the deposit, using the soil geochemical data of the mining area, the traditional statistical method and cumulative frequency method were used to delineate the anomalous range of 12 elements in the gold deposit. The factor analysis method was used to distinguish the SbHgPbAs element combination and Au Ag Bi.Element combination,ZnCuSn element combination and WMo element combination; further trend analysis of factor scores, which effectively highlights deep prospecting information and more accurately circle the oreforming target area.Combined with the geological characteristics of the study area, the combination of AuAgBi element and Sb HgPbAs element is the best geochemical marker element combination in the study area. The next step of geological work should be placed in the deep part of the ore body in the mining area and the abnormally high value in the south. At the same time,a small number of projects were arranged in the northern ore belt to trace the relationship between the mine and the Tangzhangzi Gold Mine.
