    Confirming the thickness of the isolated mining pillars is the main important problem of openpit to underground mining and mining under quaternary system.Taking the mining engineering under quaternary system for an example,according to the disaffinity airport boundary conditions of isolated pillars and the form of damage mechanism of in the different stress condition,the MohrCoulomb and Tensile failure criteria are used to evaluate.The stress of inside the pillar unit is calculated by the FLAC3D software,and the safety coefficient method based on unit is put forward to calculate the safety coefficient of the isolated pillars.Finally,the reasonable thickness data of the isolated pillars is determined.

    The work of mining at the isolated island face has always been a difficult field in the coal mine management. According to the general situation of 31706 isolated island mining face which caused by 3上 mining in Henan, the deformation situation of the mining strata of the isolated island and the stress distribution situation are analyzed by the UDED software ,combing with the actual condition on site.The research results show that, the whole structure is not sustain the destruction when mining at island face, and the stress of the coal wall for both sides decreased significantly, in the meantime, the island face is in the internal of depressurization area, which making the elastic potential energy to release in island face. Finally, it is verification that it is very feasible to mine at the isolated island face under the special geological conditions.

    The mine's orebody of western area of the Fanshan phosphate rock occurred under the confined aquifer.In order to protect the mining stopes from being submerged by the confined aquifer from the fractured zone generated while mining. So,the filling method of the point to level of hierarchy pillars is adopted to mining in this area.     Since the ore drop shaft of a copper mine was built, sections have changed from circular to irregular shape and its size have changed from 3 meter to 20 meter. The maximum area nearly approach 300 square meters, and the sidewall distance between the two passes changed from 25 meters to about 13 meters. If the collapse is continued to happen,the danger of caving will be appeared. However,according to the production plan of the mine, the drop shafts have longer service life.Analysis of the stability of the drop shafts is done by numerical simulation method and some relative researches on the mechanism of the collapse process influence of drop shafts is done. Based on MohrCulomb failure criterion, the paper gave the emphasis on the analysis of stress state of surrounding rock changed in the sig3sig1 coordinate plane, getting the variation law of stress preliminarily established stable states of the passes which sets up the basis on later research of reinforcing and support of rocks.

    The AutoCAD drawing software is widely used in many fields, however, it is so difficult for the basic functions of the AutoCAD drawing software to meet the drawing requirements under the actual conditions of some complex CAD questions or the professional design works.In the practical work, the spatial relationships of the coal mine tunnel plan is obtained not easily by manual processing method, and the same time, the workload is so huge. To deal with this questions, a set of automatic processing software is designed to gain the spatial relationships of roadway. Some related researched results proved that, the newly design software is goof for the work efficiency and technical level of the mine drawing workers. Moreover,this research results also conducive to the development of computeraided design.

    Recycling iron tests on an iron tailing was conducted, according to characteristics of iron tailing from a old iron mine. Iron concentrate with yield of 22.12%, iron grade of 58.90%, iron recovery of 64.31%was obtained with the process of step grinding—low intensity magnetic separation + fine screening—high intensity magnetic separation—gravity separation, which provides a technical basis for development and utilization of this type of tailings.

    irect reduction—magnetic separation test were conducted on a bayer red mud. The effect of direct reduction temperature, direct reduction time, reducing agent dosage, CCO dosage, NCC dosage on the iron powder of its grade and recovery were examined. The optimum level of each factor was obtained through orthogonal test: direct reduction temperature of 1 200 ℃, direct reduction time of 2.5 h, coal dosage of 30%, CCO dosage of 15%, NCC dosage of 3%,and iron concentrate with iron grade of 91.34%, iron recovery of 88.36% was obtained in optimum parameters.

    According to the characteristics of the semicircle arch roadway of mine straight walls, combining with the anchor net supporting and failure feature of the Ushape retaining instability, some related researched is done by numerical simulation softwares. The research results show that,the weak positons of supporting bearing can be structural reinforcemented by adopting the pretightening force of anchor cable. So, is is good for improving the overall stability and intensity of the supporting bearing.
