    Confirmation of reasonable mine construction scale of metal mine is a extremely important decision in mine construction and development. On the basis of analysis of main factors which influence the reasonable production scale of a mine, confirmed the weights of each factors and the order of priority of schemes by using analytical hierarchy process, best mine construction scale was obtained.

    Difficulties in molybdenum and tungsten comprehensive ore blending of Sandaozhuang open-pit mine were analyzed, solving methods were proposed. Automatic operation of molybdenum and tungsten comprehensive ore blending was realized in ore blending software. Solved balance ore supply problems of multi-mine enter sites to multi-ore discharge sites of molybdenum and tungsten comprehensive ore blending mainly. Advantages like timely, reliable and easy control execution of this ore blending method were proved through production examples.

    Relationships between leaching time, leaching temperature, H2SO4 initial concentration and residual acid concentration of leaching solution were studied, leaching pulp potential changes in leaching process were investigated. Results indicate, residual acid concentration of leaching solution don't vary with leaching time or leaching temperature, and the H2SO4 consumption in acid leaching process account for about 66% of the initial H2SO4 amount; pulp potential decreases from 610 mV to 480 mV after leaching for 4 h, and have no more changes when vanadium leaching rate reaches balance.

    Took a copper sulphide ore in Yunnan as the research object. Analyzed and found the ore copper content was 0.68% and mainly existed in the form of sulfide. Copper concentrate with copper content 20.52% and recovery rate 90.83% were obtained by adopting flotation process of one roughing three times reconcentrate three times scavenging. Laid a solid foundation for the further development of this ore.

    Process mineralogy study was done on a low grade and fine-sized quartz vein type gold ore of fracture zone by adopting MLA mineral automatic detection technology and combined traditional chemical analysis, microscopic analysis and other methods. The results indicate, main valuable minerals in this ore were silver-bearing natural gold, carrier minerals of gold are arsenopyrite, pyrite, quartz,etc. Dissociable natural gold, gold still contained in pyrite and arsenopyrite, gold contained in gangue account for 61.24%、34.78% and 3.98% respectively when ore ground to -0.045 mm, theoretical recovery rate of gold is 96% around. The relationship between gold and arsenic mineral arsenopyrite in ore is close which would has a certain effect to cyanide gold refining.

    Iron mineral phase compositions, mineral disseminated particle size, gangue kinds, mineral disseminated situation and so on of raw ore were studied by using process mineralogy method. Study results indicate, main iron minerals in ore are magnetite and hematite-limonite, content distribution of hematite-limonite presents significant increase trend from the middle of stope to both sides, content distribution of magnetite presents gradually decrease trend from the middle of stope to south; iron minerals disseminated particle size is mainly comparatively middle particle size and distributed all the mine, comparatively crude particle size mainly distributes at the north of stope, comparatively fine particle size ore mainly distributes at contact position of orebody and surrounding rock; difficult dissociated and difficult beneficiation ore mainly distribute at -30 m step, easy dissociated and easy beneficiation ore mainly distribute at -42 m step, these distribution law could guiding site production half quantitatively.

    Through the analysis and estimation of stability of goaf of Liaoning Gold Phoenix Gold Mining Industry Co.,Ltd., adopted the method of caving roof surrounding rock of goaf forcedly in small scope, then released to falling slowly to filling goaf, probably happened pressure bump disaster caused by large scale natural caving of 335# goaf was eliminated successfully, underground safe production was assured, provided experience references for similar condition mine.

    Took the open pit to underground mining system of a mine as the research target, based on sites measured engineering geomechanics data and open pit to underground mining scheme, mining change distribution of open pit slope, stress field, displacement field and plastic zone of underground stope surrounding media were simulated analyzed by using FLAC, the influence of stress—strain laws, geometric deformation characteristics and structure bearing behavior of open pit and underground stope structure medium by open-pit to underground mining were studied. The results indicated, whole stability of stope structure medium was good and safe, middle of open pit slope, open pit to underground mining transition security layer, two sides surrounding rock of underground stope middle and filling medium contact zone were partial unstable location, should enhanced monitoring and support.
